Richard Johnson, M.D.


Dr. Rick Johnson grew up near Galva, KS and graduated from Lindsborg High School. He received a BS degree from Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS. Before entering medicine, he received a Ph.D. in chemistry at Kansas State University and taught physical chemistry at Villanova University. He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas. He did his internship and residency in diagnostic radiology at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, Lackland AFB, TX.

 

Dr. Johnson is semi-retired. He practiced diagnostic radiology with the Radiology Consultants of Iowa in Cedar Rapids, IA for fourteen years before being employed by the United Radiology Group in Salina. His interests are general diagnostic radiology and musculoskeletal radiology.

 

Dr. Johnson and his wife Ann live on his childhood farm north of Galva, KS. They have two children and four grandchildren. Dr. Johnson's hobbies include computers, shotgun sports, and ballroom dancing.
